This is an amazing story! Stan Van Gundy, the president of the Piston's listened to his 17 year old daughter when she begged him to bring this awesome dog home. Eastwood was the last dog left at the shelter Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs during Michigan’s statewide “Empty the Shelters” pet adoption day. Eastwood is a red-coated Labrador Retriever mix. He was born with leg deformities and was found nearly blind, wandering in the cold. Eastwood will have to have a surgery later on and I'm sure the Van Gundy family will make sure that happened. We should all be checking the shelters when we want to bring a new animal into our homes. Adoption is an option!
